Payment Information

Bear Paths accepts orders by check, money order, Visa, Mastercard and Discover and PayPal. All checks and money orders should be made payable to Bear Paths. Orders paid by personal check will be held until payment has cleared. If you would like to pay by PayPal, our PayPal address is bearpaths@aol.com.

Layaway and Automatic Payment Plans

• Our layaway plan requires a 15% deposit. Full payment is required within 3 months.
• Our Automatic Payment plan allows you to have your bear shipped immediately, provided an authorization to charge your credit card for future payment is given . . . or a series of post dated checks one month apart are received. The Automatic Payment Plan is for a three (3) month term ONLY.
• The maximum layaway total is $2,500.
• AMC is only available to Bear Paths established US customers
• There is no layaway or AMC permitted on Orphans or Special Show bears

If you are unable to complete a layaway purchase, a 15% forfeiture fee will be retained by Bear Paths. However, once you take possession of one of our bears all adoptions are final.

International buyers will be required to pay by international wire transfer or Paypal via a checking account. International customers should be aware that their governments may impose a customs tax or duty on their purchase and that they will be responsible for that amount. Shipments are sent insured with their purchase price, unless other arrangements have been made.

Returns

All adoptions from Bear Paths are final. We hope that collectors can appreciate that once a bear is placed in a new home it would not be fair to present it to another collector as new. Therefore, unless a purchaser contacts us immediately upon receipt of a bear with a problem, we are not able to accept returns.

If a bear is returned to Bear Paths within 3 days of receiving an order a 10% handling fee and shipping costs will be assessed.
